Phy Goes Shopping For 'Necessities'...

Gosh, I can't believe that I'll be flying off to China in 2 days time. I've bought a few stuff in preparation and at first I had zero knowledge on what I needed to get. I was really, really lost.

After going to several shops that sell winter apparel and talking to the people that work there, I'm glad to say that I managed to gain a working knowledge on what I need.

I've bought a few items from Going Places at Center Point and various other places. I must say that I am so over the moon with them because they're so cute! At least I think they are.

Check out the scarf..

..and the hat..

Lol... I also bought a fleece thermal set and a pair of PVC gloves.. All this for RM179. Okay, okay, it's almost RM200 but a set of thermal wear alone can cost up to RM189 at 1 Borneo.

Granted, it's made from microfiber, lightweight, easy to care for and all that good stuff but I'm only going to wear these for a week and when I got to Ranau, etc.

The scarf looks like a Twizzler candy to me and it really cheers me up every time I look at it. Hehe.. Same goes with the hat. I almost bought the one that is a bit roomy with a bobble at the end. It looks a bit like a Santa hat though so that's why I skipped it.

Pack of three socks from Sox World..

PVC gloves from Going Places

Fleece thermal set from Going Places

 Moisturizing facial masks from Sasa..

Traveling brush set by Jordan. Available at Guardian and Watson

Traveling toiletries set and scented facial wipes.

I have been prepping my skin for this trip for the past 10 days. I put on a moisturizing mask three times a week so that my skin wouldn't experience a 'cold shock' and react drastically when I get there. So far, I think moisturizing masks are great and can be used even by those with oily skin. Just use it once a week.

My packing is done I think. The only thing I need to think about now is whether I can find a medium sized luggage or not. The one that I will be using is kind of big and heavy and I would like to opt for a smaller one if I could..

A final edit is inevitable tonight especially the toiletries part. I think I've down-sized but I may still need to skip a few things. Down-sizing is so hard to do. Huhu..

By the way, I've just filmed a new video. I hope that I will be able to put it up on my Youtube channel by tonight. Until the next post, cheers!
